Maroš

Two days ago I went for a beer with Maroš and his girlfriend Tea. We went to one open air pub, really nice place with country live music.

I have not seen Maroš for ages. Actually, it is a bit funny story. We met when we were 13 years old. We went for organised trip to London with our Mums :-)) And since then, we were accidentally seeing each other somewhere in Bratislava. As this summer we met accidentally two or three times, finally we decided to meet on purpose :-))

It was nice to talk to both of them. I like to discover people's way of thinking and acting in diferent matters.

Holidays are over?

After six weeks at home I continue the journey again. To be honest, I suppose that I spent much more time at home during this summer than during the past four years altogether.

Actually, I am leaving on Monday. I will go directly to Strasbourg, where I will spend just two nights. I hope to get to the roof of the Cathedral, because I still have not been there. In addition, I was thinking about spending one day in Colmar. Depends on weather, but I cannot wait to be in Strasbourg again. Obviously, it is MY city and a lot of nice memories are connected to this place ...

On Thursday, I will get back to Brussels and on Friday morning I will get finally to Louvain la Neuve, place, where I will spend next four and half months :-))

Enjoying holidays :-)

As I am preparing for tomorrow at the moment (I will be defending my bachelor thesis), I do not have so much time to write in details what I was up to. But basically, I was having great time.

Firstly, I spent one week at Rhodos at the seaside with my Mum.
Secondly, I went to the Slovak mountains, oh, it was just PERFECT!!! I love mountains and I feel so motivated to go back soon.
Then, on my way back to Prague, I met really nice guy. We started to talk and then he was playing the guitarre and singing (he wanted me to sing as well, but I did not feel like singing, ehm, finally, I tried a bit hehe :-)) He told me that he liked to write letters, so we decided to stay in touch by this mean of communication. Nice, isn't it? I even do not remember, when I wrote last letter.

Bratislava - my home

Finally, I had some time to walk around the city and to have a detailed look at it. I have not done this for quite a long time. I visited several places, where I used to go, but where I have not been for several years. I enjoyed it a lot.

Bratislava has changed a lot through years. Every time I come back home, I find some new building being built, or some new cafe or restaurant, or just some small detail that makes the city nicer.

I like to walk around the center by night, during summer nights it makes me feel good. Today we went for milk shake and Vinea (hmmm :-)) to one of those cafés at Hviezdoslavovo námestie. It is such a nice place, with nice trees and lights around. I realised that even if I do not spend so much time in Bratislava, I feel so comfortable and familiar with it. Still it is my HOME :-)

I did not expact that at all

When I was leaving Peru, I was perfectly prepared for come back home. I knew that I would be missing my second home and that it could be quite hard to feel well in Europe again. When the moment came, I was so happy and full of energy. Of course, I was missing my Peruvian friends, food, weather, basically everything. But I managed to get over it and decided not to bother my relatives and friends with bad mood.

When I was leaving Brussels, I did not expact to feel sad and to cry. But I did. What is more, I did not think that I would be missing the place so much. But I do. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

Czech it out :-)

After three months in Belgium I visited Czech Republic again. Firstly I went to Brno to meet Petra and to pick up my stuff (thanks a lot for your help!!! :)) Brno is nice place, I enjoyed it a lot. In comparaison to Prague there are no tourists and it seems to be much more quiet. But very nice and agreeable.

Then I went to Prague. I realised that I really like the city, it was nice to be back again. In addition, I met Vašek, my couisin Peťo in whose place I was staying and we had nice blog meeting. Actually, I always enjoy our blog meetings a lot.

At home :-)

Nothing is perfect. And obviously, whereever we are and whatever we do, nice moments come as well as sad ones. But the best thing about it is that when we look back, the sad moments are gone and just nice memories and valuable experience are left.

Bye bye, Brussels! See you soon :-))
